Will I Be Able To Have My Phone During Detox?

For the safety and comfort of all our clients, phone use is restricted during detox. However, we understand the importance of staying in touch with loved ones and will allow scheduled communication at appropriate times. 

Can I Have Visitors During Detox?

During the detox process, visitors are typically not allowed. This policy ensures that you can fully focus on your recovery in a safe and controlled environment. After detox, family and loved ones can be more involved in your treatment plan if appropriate. Once a client has transitioned out of detox and residential care to a step-down level of care, clients may have visitors, depending on the aftercare program.

How Long Will My Stay Be?

The length of your stay depends on the substance you are detoxing from, your overall health, and the severity of your withdrawal symptoms. Most detox programs last between seven to 14 days, but this can vary based on individual needs and how the individual responds to withdrawal.

Can I Smoke During Detox?

Yes, at Peachtree Detox, smoking is allowed designated areas. Clients are also permitted to use a number of tobacco products including vapes as long as they bring in these products unopened.

What Do I Need To Bring With Me?

Here’s a list of recommended items:

  • Comfortable clothing (enough for 5-7 days)
  • Personal hygiene products (alcohol-free)
  • A valid ID and insurance card
  • Any prescribed medications (in original packaging)
  • A small notebook or journal

    Avoid bringing in valuables or large sums of money.
